Sarai Hannah Ajai Photographs Included Below Dated on 04-26-25 is Her Nature Hair Length and textures Without Rest Cap
Every day, new rumors seem to surface about my identity, whether it's my body type, my hair, or assumptions about my gender and biological sex. This week, a particularly offensive and false claim has been made that I am wearing what some are calling a "pussy-eating hairdo." In response, I’ve removed my resting cap to show the truth, not to prove anything to those who gossip, but to affirm my truth as a woman of color. Let it be known: not all women of color who wear a resting cap are bald-headed, and I am certainly not.
My time and my life are valuable, and I choose not to waste them standing in front of a mirror every day combing and styling my hair. Frankly, I don’t even enjoy combing my hair, and I don’t need to. I have nothing to prove to anyone but my Heavenly Father.
As it is written in Luke 12:7, “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” My worth is divinely assigned, not determined by vanity or earthly standards.
Too many of you place value on appearances, on how someone looks or the texture and length of their hair, instead of turning your focus to the One who made you. But let me remind you: God will always reveal the truth. In falsely accusing me, you’ve only exposed yourselves.
God has made a fool, a liar, and a mockery out of those who assumed I had no hair. Your words are empty. As it says in Ecclesiastes 1, “Meaningless! Meaningless! Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless.” You gain nothing from your gossip, from your superficial judgment, or from your obsession with appearance.
The photographs I’ve included below, taken on April 26, 2025, clearly show the truth: I do not have the hairstyle you falsely accuse me of. In fact, my hair may even be longer than yours. So again, I say: “Vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” — Ecclesiastes 1:2
