Dear Sir or Madam,

I am providing this correspondence as a formal and official notice that the NPM project titled “IVOTEBALLOT_PROTOTYPE_4” (the “Project”) was subjected to unauthorized access and tampering, resulting in the deletion of files and the alteration of existing project files without my knowledge or legal consent.

The compromise was discovered on February 21, 2026, at approximately 8:39 PM (local time). Upon review, the nature, scope, and timing of the file deletions and modifications are inconsistent with any authorized development activity, approved access, or consented administrative action, and instead indicate unauthorized interference with the Project’s codebase and associated assets.

This notice formally documents the following:

1. Unauthorized access and alteration.

The Project experienced unauthorized deletion of files and modification of existing files. These actions were not initiated, approved, or consented to by me in any capacity.

2. Absence of consent or authorization.

No third party was granted permission to access, modify, delete, or otherwise interfere with the Project’s files, repository configuration, or related development environment.

3. Immediate retirement of the compromised prototype.

Due to the integrity breach, the Project is hereby retired in full. All development, reliance, deployment, or derivative use of “IVOTEBALLOT_PROTOTYPE_4” has ceased to mitigate risk, prevent further compromise, and preserve evidentiary integrity.

4. Designation of successor project.

Effective immediately, development has transitioned to a new NPM project titled “AccouNetrics_IvoteBallot_Prototype_v0.0.5.” This project supersedes and replaces the compromised prototype and constitutes the sole authorized continuation of development.

5. Public repository notice.

A public notice will be posted on the GitHub repository associated with “IVOTEBALLOT_PROTOTYPE_4” documenting that the Project was compromised through unauthorized file deletion and alteration, that it has been formally retired, and that “AccouNetrics_IvoteBallot_Prototype_v0.0.5” is the designated replacement.

This correspondence is issued to preserve my legal rights, establish a contemporaneous record, and place all relevant parties on formal notice of the unauthorized compromise, retirement of the affected prototype, and identification of the successor project. I expressly reserve all rights and remedies available at law and in equity, including claims arising from unauthorized access, interference with computer systems, source-code tampering, and any resulting damages.

If you are in a position to assist with investigation or remediation, you are hereby requested to preserve all relevant logs, metadata, access records, authentication events, token activity, permission changes, and repository history associated with the Project, including any data that may otherwise be subject to routine deletion or rotation.
