 INCIDENT REPORT

Suspected Unlawful Entry, Trespass, and Theft of Personal Property from Apartment Unit 205

Prepared by: Sarai Hannah Ajai
Date Prepared: March 8, 2026
Incident Date Discovered: March 8, 2026
Approximate Discovery Time: 5:50 PM
Location: Apartment Unit 205
Subject Matter: Suspected unlawful entry, trespass, and theft of personal property

I. Executive Summary

On Sunday, March 8, 2026, at approximately 5:50 PM, I discovered facts that caused me to suspect that an unknown person or persons had unlawfully entered my apartment unit, 205, without permission and removed a substantial quantity of my personal property, specifically my Air Fryer Paper Liners.

The basis for this suspicion is as follows: I purchased the Air Fryer Paper Liners from Amazon on November 4, 2025. Based on my usage, I reasonably believe I should still have had approximately 75 liners remaining as of March 8, 2026. However, upon inspecting the product, I found that only two unused liners remained, plus the one liner I used on March 8, 2026. I did not authorize any person to enter my apartment or remove that property, and I did not provide my apartment key to any family member or any other person.

I further suspect that the unlawful entry may have occurred on or around March 6, 2026, when I went down to the apartment building foyer to retrieve a USPS-delivered parcel late that afternoon. I specifically remember experiencing a problem with my Apple iPhone 17, in that I could not use my normal six-digit lock screen passcode while standing in front of my residential mailbox, number 205. I also state that my SwitchBot door-lock log reportedly shows an extra entrance on that date. At this time, the exact date and method of entry remain unconfirmed, and that portion of the timeline is therefore speculative pending further verification.

Because I concluded that the majority of the product had been unlawfully taken, I was forced to place a new Amazon order to replace the missing Air Fryer Paper Liners.

II. Reporting Party Statement

I, Sarai Hannah Ajai, am the lawful resident of Apartment Unit 205. I did not invite any person into my apartment for the purpose of taking, borrowing, or using my Air Fryer Paper Liners. I did not give any family member or any other person a key to my apartment unit. Any unauthorized entry into Unit 205 would therefore have been without my knowledge, consent, or legal authorization.

III. Property at Issue

The personal property at issue in this incident is:

  • Air Fryer Paper Liners
  • Purchased from Amazon
  • Purchase Date: November 4, 2025
  • The Amazon order history reflects the purchase of the product
  • The current photograph taken on March 8, 2026 shows the near-empty remaining quantity

Based on my reasonable estimate of prior use, I believe that I should have had approximately 75 liners remaining. Instead, when I checked the product on March 8, 2026, I found:

  • Two unused Air Fryer Paper Liners left
  • One liner in use that day inside the air fryer

This discrepancy is significant and is not consistent with my expected remaining inventory.

IV. Incident Discovery

On March 8, 2026, at approximately 5:50 PM, I went to use my Air Fryer Paper Liners and discovered that the remaining quantity was drastically lower than expected. Upon reviewing the item, I observed that the supply had been reduced to approximately two liners remaining, excluding the liner used that day.

This immediately caused concern because I had not used the product in a quantity that would explain such a dramatic depletion. Based on my usage pattern and the November 4, 2025 purchase date, I reasonably believe a large number of liners were missing.

This discovery led me to conclude that a person may have unlawfully entered my apartment and removed the missing property.

V. Suspected Timeframe of Entry

At the present time, I cannot definitively establish the exact date or time of the suspected entry. However, I believe one possible timeframe is March 6, 2026, during the late afternoon or March 3, 2026 when I went to the grocery store to which I believe tenants had taken the down the electricity to the building in order to temporary shutdown the surveillance cameras inside my apartment unit, 205.

I note the following circumstances:

  1. I went down to the apartment building foyer to retrieve a USPS-delivered parcel.
  2. While standing in front of my residential mailbox, 205, I experienced a problem with my Apple iPhone 17, in that I could not use my normal six-digit lock screen passcode.
  3. My SwitchBot door-lock log reportedly reflects an extra entrance on that date.
  4. I now suspect that an unknown person or persons may have used that opportunity to enter my apartment without authorization.

This portion of the report remains speculative until corroborated by additional evidence, including a review of the full SwitchBot logs, building access records, surveillance footage if available, and any delivery or entry timing records.

VI. Lack of Consent / Authorization

I expressly state the following:

  • I did not authorize anyone to enter Apartment Unit 205
  • I did not invite any person into the apartment for this purpose
  • I did not loan, gift, or transfer the Air Fryer Paper Liners to anyone
  • I did not provide my apartment key to any family member or third party

Therefore, if a person entered my unit and removed the property, that entry and removal would have been without my consent and would constitute an unauthorized intrusion and trespass.

VII. Evidence Known at This Time

The following items presently support this incident report:

A. Amazon Order Record

The Amazon order history reflects that I purchased the Air Fryer Paper Liners on November 4, 2025.

B. Current Condition Photograph

A current photograph taken on March 8, 2026 shows the product container with only a very small number of liners remaining. The attached image is consistent with my statement that only two unused liners remained at the time of discovery, with one liner then being used in the air fryer.

C. SwitchBot Door-Lock Log

I state that the SwitchBot log reportedly shows an extra entrance on the suspected date. This log should be preserved and reviewed in full.

D. Personal Possession / Key Control

I did not distribute a key to my apartment to any family member or any other person.

E. Replacement Purchase Necessity

Because the product had effectively been depleted, I was forced to place a new Amazon order to replace what I believe had been taken.

VIII. Observations and Analysis

This incident is concerning because it involves not merely missing property, but also a suspected unlawful entry into a private residence. The property itself may appear low in individual retail value, but the broader issue is the possibility that an unknown person accessed my apartment without permission and removed personal effects.

The significance is heightened by several facts:

  • the missing quantity appears substantial relative to expected use,
  • the resident did not authorize entry,
  • no apartment key was voluntarily given to another person,
  • there is a possible corroborating digital access log showing an unexpected entrance,
  • and the suspected timeframe overlaps with an unusual device-access issue involving the reporting party’s iPhone 17.

At this stage, the strongest formulation is that there is a reasonable basis to suspect unlawful entry and theft, but that additional corroboration should be gathered before asserting a final conclusion regarding the exact method, perpetrator, or precise time of entry.

IX. Harm and Impact

This incident caused the following harm:

  • loss of personal property,
  • disruption of ordinary household use,
  • need to purchase replacement supplies,
  • invasion of residential privacy,
  • fear and concern arising from possible unauthorized entry,
  • increased concern regarding the security of Apartment Unit 205 and personal possessions within it.

The incident is especially troubling because a person who unlawfully enters a residence is not simply taking property; that person is violating the resident’s privacy, security, and sense of safety within the home.

X. Requested Follow-Up / Preservation

The following evidence should be preserved and reviewed:

  • SwitchBot door-lock logs for March 6, 2026 and surrounding dates
  • Amazon purchase and replacement order records
  • photographs of the remaining product quantity
  • USPS delivery timing records for the parcel retrieved that afternoon
  • any building foyer, hallway, or entrance surveillance footage
  • any building access-control logs, if maintained
  • any notes regarding lock integrity, duplicate key access, or maintenance entry records

XI. Conclusion

On March 8, 2026, I discovered facts strongly suggesting that my apartment unit, 205, may have been unlawfully entered and that my personal property, namely the Air Fryer Paper Liners purchased on November 4, 2025, had been substantially removed without my knowledge or permission.

I did not authorize entry to my apartment, did not give my apartment key to any person, and did not consent to the removal of the property. Based on the quantity remaining, I reasonably believe that a substantial portion of the liners is missing and that I should have had approximately 75 remaining. A possible timeframe for the trespass may be March 6, 2026, though that remains subject to confirmation. My suspicion is strengthened by the existence of an alleged extra entrance reflected in the SwitchBot log and the unusual phone passcode issue I experienced while retrieving a USPS parcel that same afternoon.

This report is being prepared to memorialize the incident, preserve the facts while fresh in memory, and support any later review by apartment management, law enforcement, or other appropriate authority.
