I. Executive Summary

On April 1, 2026, at approximately 10:50 PM, while I was at my apartment unit, **5 I heard a male voice speaking loudly outside in close proximity to my second-floor apartment. The male voice stated words to the effect of: “WE NEED YOU TO KEEP QUIET ABOUT THIS MATTER.” At the time this occurred, I was already under substantial emotional distress arising from earlier events that had taken place during the same day.

A short time later, after turning my Apple iPhone 17 back on, I observed that the device was no longer showing expected V*r*z*n  wireless connectivity and instead displayed “SOS” status. Based on what I observed, I became immediately concerned that my V*r*z*n  service associated with the iPhone 17 may have been unlawfully interfered with, transferred, or otherwise taken out of my control without my authorization. I am preserving a screenshot of the device state as supporting evidence and identify that screenshot as Exhibit A.

This report is intended to preserve the facts exactly as I personally observed them, together with my resulting concerns regarding possible unauthorized interference with my mobile service, account environment, or device connectivity.

II. Incident Timeline

A. Audible Statement Outside the Apartment

Date: April 1, 2026
Approximate Time: 10:50 PM

At approximately 10:50 PM on April 1, 2026, I was locking my patio door at my apartment unit, **5 when I heard a male voice speaking loudly outside somewhere in close proximity that echo to my second-floor apartment unit. The male voice stated: “WE NEED YOU TO KEEP QUIET ABOUT THIS MATTER.”

Because of prior events earlier that same day, I was already emotionally upset and distressed at the time I heard this statement. I regarded the statement as alarming and threatening in context.

B. iPhone 17 Powered Back On

Date: April 1, 2026
Approximate Time: Approximately 11:00 PM

After hearing the male voice, I sat on my bed for several minutes. I then decided to turn my Apple iPhone 17 back on. The device had previously been turned off at approximately 10:30 PM.

Once the Apple iPhone 17 powered back on, I observed that my V*r*z*n -related connectivity was not appearing as expected. Instead of showing normal V*r*z*n  signal/service status, the phone displayed “SOS” and did not reflect active V*r*z*n  connectivity. Based on my observation of the screen, the device appeared to be in a state consistent with loss of ordinary carrier service or loss of normal account-linked wireless access.

C. Observed Loss of Expected V*r*z*n Connectivity

Upon viewing the phone after power-up, I observed that there was no normal V*r*z*n  signal connectivity visible on the device. From my perspective, the Apple iPhone 17 appeared to have defaulted back into a setup or non-connected state with respect to V*r*z*n  service, while showing only SOS status. I did not observe the expected active V*r*z*n  wireless connection on the device at that time.

This condition caused me immediate concern that my V*r*z*n  account associated with the Apple iPhone 17 may have been unlawfully transferred to another carrier, unlawfully taken over, or otherwise interfered with by a third party without my knowledge or authorization.

I cannot independently verify, at this stage, the exact technical cause of the loss of service reflected onto my Apple iPhone 17. However, I am documenting that, immediately after hearing the male voice statement outside my apartment unit, **5, I turned on my Apple iPhone 17 and observed that my Apple iPhone 17 no longer showed expected V*r*z*n  connectivity and instead showed SOS status only.

III. Effect on Me

This incident caused me substantial fear, upset, and emotional distress. In light of the earlier events that had already occurred during the day, the loud male statement outside my apartment unit, **5 followed by the apparent loss of my V*r*z*n  connectivity caused me to fear that my V*r*z*n  cellular service, mobile account, or device environment had been interfered with without my authorization.

I was especially alarmed because my Apple iPhone 17 is a core personal communications device used for telephone access, account access, records, applications, and security-related functions. The apparent loss of carrier service created immediate concern regarding my ability to communicate, preserve records, and maintain secure access to my accounts.

IV. Evidentiary Observation

I preserved a screenshot reflecting the device condition observed after Apple my iPhone 17 was turned back on.

V. Analytical Assessment

Based on the facts presently available, the most accurate characterization is that I observed an abrupt and unexplained loss of expected V*r*z*n  wireless connectivity on my Apple iPhone 17 immediately after hearing an alarming male statement outside my apartment unit, **5 telling me to “keep quiet about this matter.”

At present, I cannot state with technical certainty whether the condition resulted from an unlawful transfer of service, SIM or eSIM interference, account takeover, carrier-side disruption, unauthorized device/account manipulation, or some other technical service issue. However, I can state that the timing and surrounding circumstances caused me serious concern that my V*r*z*n  account and Apple iPhone 17 device connectivity may have been interfered with without my authorization.

VI. Formal Statement

I, Sarai Hannah Ajai, state that on April 1, 2026, at approximately 10:50 PM, while at my apartment unit **5  I heard a male voice outside in close proximity to my second-floor apartment state: “WE NEED YOU TO KEEP QUIET ABOUT THIS MATTER.” At that time, I was already emotionally distressed because of earlier events that had occurred during the same day.

After sitting on my bed for several minutes, I turned my Apple iPhone 17 back on at approximately 11:00 PM. The phone had been turned off at approximately 10:30 PM. When the device powered on, I observed that it did not show the expected V*r*z*n  wireless connectivity frequencies bar and instead displayed SOS status. Based on what I observed, I became concerned that my V*r*z*n  wireless service associated with my Apple iPhone 17 may have been unlawfully interfered with, transferred, or otherwise taken over without my authorization.

I do not claim technical certainty as to the precise cause of the service loss. I am preserving this report as a contemporaneous record of my firsthand observations and the screenshot evidence reflecting the device condition I observed.

I am preserving this report and Exhibit A as a contemporaneous record of the events I personally observed on April 1, 2026. This report is based on my firsthand observations of the audible statement made outside my apartment, the timing of my turning the device back on, and the device’s visible SOS condition in place of expected V*r*z*n connectivity.
